Hailing from the English Riviera, the London-based Sondrix has led a life immersed in sound. A former lead guitarist in Indie, Funk & Blues bands, Sondrix discovered House music at a young age and there began a love affair that has propelled him towards his status today: a fast-rising DJ and producer in the London underground circuit.
As a House music selector, Sondrix’s palette spans the full diversity of the genre. His sets move seamlessly between Soulful, Funky, Deep and Tech House, incorporating multi-track mixing on a triple-deck set up, while never letting go of the one thing he believes drives a dance floor: groove.
Heavily influenced by an assortment of genres and artists – from Blues, Funk, Jazz and World Music to modern-day House Music stalwarts like Roger Sanchez, Sam Divine and Kerri Chandler – Sondrix is a true lover of music. It is the desire to share this music with the world that brought Sondrix from the world of live music to the land of clubs.
One foot firmly in the door, Sondrix’s following is growing rapidly. With a Solaris Radio residency and several live performances in the pipeline, it’s time for the listeners and the ravers to stand up, take notice, and dance.
